Trick to convert video format using VLC player

VLC player is a fantastic media layer as far I have seen. It is more famous for its compatibility of formats. It can support any new media format if you have updated the player.
Almost everybody of you might have VLC player installed on your PC. If prefer to install it first. It is a multipurpose media software. It not only plays media files it can also convert the format of the media files to desired format.

How to convert Video format using VLC player?

• Open VLC player.
• Click on the “Media” menu.
• Select “Convert/Save” option from the dropdown menu.

• Add a Video to the list on the Convert/save pop up window after clicking on the subtitle tab(Optional) and specifying dimensions of the video(Optional).
• Click on the Convert/Save option.

• You can see a Convert pop up window as seen in the below image.
• Select the destination file  details and format (click on the browse and go to desktop from the browse window and enter a new name for destination video).
• Click on start to start converting . Wait for a while and check the destination file from the destination folder you specified and with the specified destination name.
