Reliance launched their first 3G Android based tablet computer

RCom : Reliance Communication has launched a new 7-inch 3G tablet aptly named as Reliance 3G Tab! Reliance will be the first telecom operator to manufacture a tablet computer.

The 7-inch 3G tab is powered by Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread mobile OS. The device comes with some attractive features. The tab boosts of 7inch sensitive capacitive multi-touch screen (480 x 800 pixels )Display, back there is a 2-Megapixel Camera and a VGA camera at front for video calling. Inside there is a powerful 800Mhz processor and a 512MB RAM.The tab weights just 389 grams.Supports MicroSD card upto 32GB (4GB MicroSD Card offered Free).

Other features include Wi-Fi Hotspot,Bluetooth Voice calling, GPS, FM Radio, Alarm, speaker phone, MobileTV, SMS, MMS

The device will also comes with some pre-loaded apps like youtube,Google Map & Google Search, R World Online, Android Market, Social Networking, Gmail and 'Document To Go' for productivity tasks and also there's a Mobile TV app for entertainment on the go.

Currently the Reliance 3G tab available in Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai via the Reliance World and Reliance Mobile stores. It will be priced at Rs 12,999 and consumers will have the option of multiple data plans as shown below.
